Having a problem with our Nortel CS1000 phone system. It is not allowing us to dial a number in the 662 area code. I contacted our carrier to see if it was something on their end, and the tech logged my attempts to place a call, and noticed that on their end, it appeared that I was just calling a local number (only the first 7 digits dialed showed up).
I did check the extension I was dialing from under 'terminals and sets' to make sure there aren't any kind of restriction filters, and it's set to 00 (no restrictions)
I am not very familiar with this system, I have only learned the basics. Being the only IT person at this facility, and this being the only location with a Nortel phone system, I have no one internally to help with this issue. So any insight you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.
