Hi All

I have been trying to delete certain files from my PC and get the error

Access is denied you do not have permission.

I am set as Admin and still can not delete various files if it helps the files are settings for norton live update that there support forum tells you to delete if problems.

Any suggestions?

Logging in as admin doesn't give you admin rights for every operation. You'd need to request privilege elevation to perform this operation with full rights.

This is by design, to help prevent malware running under your user account from messing with protected resources without requiring a person to explicitly OK it.

What are the Access Permissions on the files you wish to delete? Can you change them or check that they are correct?
