Hi, I am new to VB.NET and just installed it onto my pc at home. The Problem I am having is that it will not let me create any new projects. I am running XP, and Office 2000. I have also uninstalled 3 times already, and I still get the same message that is below when I reinstall it, and try to create a new project. If anyone can help me out that would be great

Sincerely,
Tim Buescher

Projet "WindowsApplication1" could not be opened because Microsoft Visual Basic.Net compiler could not be created.

Hi Tim

Did a wee search on the web for you and found this article:

That suggests one solution, there are probably a few more.. Unfortunatly I'm also quite new to VB.Net so I can't actually give you an answer, but I've found that Google is often very helpful.. Run a search on "Microsoft Visual Basic.Net compiler" and see what you can learn.

Hope this helps a little.
Nells :)
