This problem has been plaguing me for some time.

We have two office, they are connected using a vpn. Both offices run W2K servers (SP4), RAS & TS. When office A connects to Office B you can not connect to office A from anywhere except from office B. You can not connect using TS, Radmin or a vpn connection. In order to gain access to office A, you have to connect to office B, disconnect the client in RAS, then you can connect to office A.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

We need more information to help. Is this office A server domain controller, DNS? How many NICs in the server? how do you connect the VPN? also please post the result of ipconfig /all after esblishing VPN.

Hi Robert,

I got it to work after disabling the "Use default gateway". Why this had an effect on incoming connections is beyond me though. I removed the check as a last ditch attempt.

Thanks any.

thank you for the feedback. I believe MS has an article talking about this issue. I don't remember the q#. When the remote office establishes the VPN, the VPN server routing table changes. you may use route print to check that.
