can not connect to internet on my Server 2008R2

I have built a sandbox om my laptop, it is a dual boot system, running both window 7 and Window server 2008r2...

Intel qm-3610 chip with 8 gb of ram and 750 hard drive !!!!

but on the Server side i am not able too conect to the Internet

Please advise

Did you verify that there are no unknown devices in Device Manager??

The settings should be exactly the same as your Windows 7 machine assuming you are NOT setting it up as the DNS server for other client computers. If that was the case, then the Server 2008 would point to itself for DNS.
