Can not change drive letter assignment on Zip Drive (a)

I am running Windows 98 and I have both my Floppy and Zip drive assigned to letter A. I have tried to change it in
Start->Settings->Systems->Device Manager Any suggestions?

Probably time to uninstall it , then reinstall.

i asume your zip drive is an internal ide drive. some had a jumper to assign drive letters. if not the 3.5 floppy should have try to set one to a drive b:
