I set up a Cisco PIX to handle incoming VPN connections via PPTP. Everything seems to be working fine from a network perspective (FTP, ICMP, etc. all work). But, when I try to logon to the domain or access any domain resource, it always times out after about 20 minutes even though the connections are in the ESTABLISHED state. My domain is on the network 172.16.0.0 and the VPN clients are on the network 192.168.0.0. Packets are getting routed between these networks correctly. Also, the PIX is assigning the client the local domain DNS server and domain hostnames are resolving correctly. Is there anything special I need to do to allow logons from a different network?
