Can norton ghost dump the image of RAID 5 HD

To all,
I have asked symantec technical respresentative, he said that they didn't recommend the their client using the ghost to backup the server with hardware raid. however, i have seen some paragraph mentioned about raid 5 and ghost. So anyone know the answer and the corresponding solution? Thanks!
