Running Livelink 9.5.0

Today, when anyone tries to search they get the error: "Livelink cannot run your query because it is waiting for one or more search engines to start".

The Enterprise Update Distributor is not processing any documents. I'm seeing an error in that log saying cannot find RMI registry.

Has anyone ever seen this?

Thanks in advance
Greg

Check out the status of the RMI job on the Admin Server and see why that is not working, the error shown there will help us or OT support work out the cause of your issue.

I'm a little new to this.. Where exactly is the RMI job status? One thing I did notice after posting the question is when I check the admin port of the RMI settings, the port says it's in use instead of available.

thats the page in question, you will need to find an available port and reassign it, its possible that one of the other search jobs has got stuck causing this issue.

The simplest course of action is to contact your local OT Support team who will be able to look in detail at your issue and give you the best advice.
