Can no longer receive fax messages

Here's something that used to work for us before yesterday, and I don't know what changed. Our fax server sends SMTP messages to our users by only specifying the sender address as "FACSys Fax Connector@". As I said, this always worked. Now, Exchange 2003 is rejecting the messages with the error:

C:MAIL FROM: <FACSys Fax Connector@>
S:501 5.5.4 Invalid Address

How can I modify Exchange so that these messages can be delivered again?

To do this, enter the fax number in the To field in the following format: [fax:202-661-5219]. If you wish the name and company name of the recipient to appear in the cover page, enter: [fax:name@company@faxnumber].

The brackets are needed.

Sorry I misread it. It was receiving....Sounds like the account is disabled in AD.
