I've got a Legend 7.0 w/ Magix Messaging 1.x. Can I have one of my selector codes for the auto attendant, dial a number off-switch?

I've given the VM ports a high enough FRL to make the call. I've also got the VM ports Toll Restricted instead of outward restricted. I've also got the VM ports programmed for Trunk-to-Trunk transfer allowed.

I've got a selector code programmed to transfer to extension "95551234." It takes the programming, but ends up ringing the extension on port 0.

Any thoughts?

Kris

try and change the selector code to dial an unused extension that has remote forward option turned on
Feature 33 9xxxxxxxxxx will forward the unused phone
off-site .....Feature 33 and extension of unused port
will cancel any forwarding ....worth a try

If you have "centrex" lines, the Merlin Messaging can do a centrex transfer to an outside number via a selector code in the auto attendant.

Touch Tone Tommy has got it. So long as you subscibe to Centrex that also has the "outside to Outside" or "Trunk to Trunk" feature on the lines yhis will work. Contact your LEC to confirm the feature is avaialble and turned on.
