Person in stuck elevator presses EMERGENCY button which dials us, My proposed solution....VMail says "To reach assistance, dial 0 now, or press 1 now..... Revert DN dials an outside number.

PROBLEM.... no keypad in the elevator to press 0 or anything.

Any way system can dial out automatically, instead of waiting for a key? They also need to change the # it dials out, depending on who is on call.
(We answer this # live during the day)

When you are building them menu, after keys 1-9, there are a couple of prompts that say Initial No Response and Delayed Response. On these prompts put RV. This makes the system dial the revert DN if the caller doesn't press an option. In the Rever DN field is where you would change the extension depending on who is on call.

Why add V-Mail to the mix ? Just make it a 500 set programed as a ringdown phone. As soon as the "phone" in the elevator goes off hook, the switch dials the number.

Might be an idea to have the Emergency phone call an extension with an external hunt and fdn? Take voicemail out of the mix entirely. A phantom with CLS CFXA should be able to take care of that, and then you could use SCR to put the number that the elevator phone calls onto whatever phones you need.
