Can logon with dial-up but no logon script runs

I have created a dial-up connection and can dial-up and logon to the domain however the logon script is not running and I am unable to see mapped drives. I can browse the network and map the drives manually. I created this connection to troubleshoot a remote clients problem not getting his mapped drives like he has before. Is there anything I can check to see why the logon script is not running and giving his connections?
