can log onto sendmail server

i am running the lastest ver. of sendmail and for some reason i can not log on to it to recieve and but i can send mail. and my linux box can recieve mail and send mail i jsut can't connect to it with outlook my dns is right and all the ports are mapped right on my router please help thanks of your time

How is Outlook set up currently?

You might need to install the imap RPM and get the POP3 daemon running on the Linux box. Then Outlook can get your mail from the Linux box using the POP3 protocol.

Might be another way, but that comes to mind first. I'm not sure of Outlook's other capabilities in terms of how it can get mail.
