Can LJ3020 work as shared scanner 1

Hello,
I got this question from one of our remote offices.
They have installed LJ3020 as shared printer. It has a scanner option and they want to know that can it be used as shared scanner.

Stated on the HP page it says that it should work

If you are thinking about sharing the printer through another computer, it wont work.

Hello Marcus,
thanks for the answer.
Printer is shared through another computer, I thougth that scanner cannot be shared but couldn't find correct document from HP support pages.

Hi again joni!

If u go in to the HP pages (

http://www.hp.com),

and type in c00377316 at the search field you will able to find the document. If you are gonna shared through another computer, you most likely wont get it to work, but via a JD server the document says that it will work.
