Yes just a simple shape morph. Morphing one shape to another For example a circle into a square. In Flash it is called a "shape tween" and is very easy. You just have one keyframe that contains the circle then another keyframe that contains the circle and then insert a "shape tween" and that's it. But I can't find a way to do it in Live Motion that simply.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Brad
Well I've been also trying to do the same thing with Live Motion and I don't think it can. It will tween only if your are making size, rotate, scale and colour changes to it, but not morphing type of tweening. I think that's where Macromedia has the edge. I could be wrong, since I haven't been using Live Motion for very long. There is no documentation on this type of motion in the manual. Hope someone else out there has a solution.
Check out Illustrator 10 - It can do what you want with as many inbetweens as you like. You can then release the tweens to layers. I am having trouble exporting the file and keeping the layers seperate photoshop although I believe it's supposed to be able to do that. You can save as an annimated gif or flash.
Hi All,
I have just upgraded to LiveMotion 2.0, and with the Live Tab plug-in "Live Morph", you can do some shape tweening/morphing. It's cool.
Hi Bill,
If you go to Adobe Exchange website you can download all kinds of extras and plug-ins for Adobe products. Here's the URL for the Live Morph Tab towards the bottom of the page:
