Hi,
We are needing to have reports run in Crystal Enterprise based on instructions from an outside program.

This would be the workflow:
Outside program talks to CE and tells it to kick off reports based on input from the program.
Crystal would be told through the program which reports it needs to run and when.

It would need to be totally automated, with no intervention. Can Java be used to interface with CE to do this? If not, does anyone know how it might be possible?

Thanks in advance,
Rory

There is a JAVA software developers kit (SDK) that you would need to use.

You can find some examples of the code on the BOBJ Developers site.

Thanks MJRBIM and synapsevampire for the info!
