Can Informix4GL run on any other DBMS

Hi,
Informix 4GL not a generic application development tool. It supports only Informix as a backend database; and it can not run on any other DBMS/RDBMS products owing to it's specific attached nature.
However, IBM, intends to implement a derived product based on Informix 4GL on DB2 environment. This product may have most of the properties of current version of 4GL plus more.
