Can incoming calls be set to ring on outside speakers? 1

We have:

Meridian M8X24-DS
Nortel Startalk Flash 4 CH 1.7
Nortel ATA2

We have inside and outside paging zones set up. On Saturdays we have only one or two people working and sometimes they have to go outside.

Is there a way that we can set up a service so that on Saturdays the phone rings on the outside speakers (the outside paging zone)? It would be even better if we could set up a button like the "night service" button, so that when everybody's outside, they just press that button and if there's an incoming call, you can hear the ring over the speakers.

Also, off topic, how many total phone lines can our system handle?

The 8x24 has an output for Aux.Ringing on the trunk cable from the KSU. I believe it is Pr.18, the Yellow/Green of the top cable from the KSU. This output is connected to the aux. ring contact on your paging amplifier.
When the trunks are programmed for 'AUX RING - Y' in service mode programming, when Night service is engaged, the incoming calls will cause audible ring tone over the external speakers.
Unexpanded, your system can supply 24 station ports for sets, less 2 for the Startalk and 1 for the ATA,
Fully expanded, with a 6-port copper expansion card, any combination of trunk modules at 12 lines per module and station modules at 16 stations per module.
So 8 lines & 120 stations or 80 lines and 24 stations.
Or somewhere in between....... ;-)
