Can i write directly to an excel sheet from Livelink?

If i have a form and i want only 1 value from a form and copy it to an excel sheet.

Is this possible in Livelink???

Since livelink is a relational database tool have you identified whether the column is getting inserted to a standard livelink table or a table of your naming.In any case using a file system object of any langauage(VB,Java) etc a lot of examples in this forum as well as in

you can create your excel sheet without any problem.Creating your excel sheet should be your last worry if you can identify the data that is going to it.

There is a tool called the WF Toolkit from

http://www.greggriffiths.org/livelink/addons/

which has some code in VBScript that converts the stored WF From data into an Array, which could then be used by you, although the tool already has a built in Excel Extraction function which may suffice.
