Can I use SQL Query from Crystal Report ?

Hi All,
After one year of using Crystal, I still think this is impossible from Crystal Report.

Page Header :
Total Year To date Customer's Order
Details :
List of Customer's Orders in Current Month.

Obviously in Page Header, I need to do this Query :
'SELECT SUM(...) FROM ... WHERE OrderDate ... '

How can I do this ?

Yes you can do this in Crystal.

You need to bring all records for the year into the report then suppress the detail section if it is not in the current month.

OR, create a sub-report that calculates the Total Year To date Customer's Order.
