I have a VB 6.0 app running against SQL Server 2000 that calls a couple of CR 8.5 rpt files using p2soledb.dll.
There have only been 2 users of this app, so I simply had the rpt file on each users c: drive, no problem.
Now the app is to be deployed to >20 people and I don't want to have to ensure that the rpt file is always going to be on each client machine (expecially with any revisions that may be needed).
Question: Can I have the rpt file on a network drive and have multiple users executing it? Or am I going to have to ensure that a current version of the rpt file is on everyone's machine?
My development environment is not set up to test multiple users. Any suggestions/help is appreciated.
