Can I use RDC in active x components

Can i use RDC component in an active-x dll/exe to reditribute my application.if so is that neccessary to distribute any crystal engines or any crystal components along with my application.
if this is not possible let me know the exactway to ditribute my appllication which containes RDC component to generate reports

You can certainly put the RDC code in a DLL. The Crystal DLLs that would get packaged in your application wouldn't be any different than if the RDC code was in the main application.

As a general FYI, be aware that there are portions of the RDC that have royalties associated with them, i.e., the Report Creation APIs.
