I am attempting to link Access with AutoCAD. Can this even be accomplished? Please if someone knows..help me. Thank-you in advance

How do you want to do this? Do you plan on using VBA to get data from Access or do you want to insert it as you would an Excel table? DimensionalSolutions@Core.com

I do not think I want to insert this information. I am not familiar with VBA. I want to be able to create a point in AutoCAD and somehow link the point to the information already created in Access. I hope this is clearer than mud.
Thank-you
Loveless

If you want to create a link to an Access file, you can use a hyperlink. For example:

1. Insert some text "Link to Database"
2. Insert > Hyperlink
3. Select the text object from (1)
4. Browse for the Access file and hit OK

Then, this text will be a link directly to the Access file.

Is that what you were looking for?

As far as ACCESS is concerned I only know the reverse way: you can integrate any AUTOCAD file into an ACCESS table (without bloating the database!!!!) and control Autocad (or any Autocad viewer) from ACCESS. The software's name is "Autocad! With ACCESS" and description can be found on SWREG or ("Powerups"-section).
