Can I use Access 97 (or 2000) to view Outlook Express data?

I want to be able to check the addresses and sent-dates of emails against records in my database, in order to simplify my record-keeping. No need to access the content of the email itself.
Is there any way of doing this?

Not sure but....
Open Access 2000 and see if you can link to it.
1. Click the tables TAB
2. Right click in the white space
3. Click Link Tables….
4. In the “Files of Type” (at the bottom click “Exchange()”)
If you can connect it will show up there. You should see a list of the folders in Outlook. Pick which one you want to connect to.
Outlook 2000 shows up for me.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

I went down from dawn(d3)'s experience? The "Message" from here is a fault which "aborts" Ms. Access. Perhaps some reference is necessary?

change the extension on the inbox file to .txt (copy it and change it on the copy to .txt). Access can then take it. However, there is a lot of "stuff" between messages in that file which you'll have to eliminate.
