I've been trying the previous post with 4 digit and prepending out too, but with 5 digit dialing. Bascially, I want to set up a BCM to dial more like a PBX and reserve the Intercom Lines for secondary use like with the Meridian 1/CS1000 setup. I am not really able to work these details out though.
Bascially I'd like to dial 5 digits between all of my BCM phones using the SIP trunks....that way internal callers have hold music, etc. and then set up the Intercom button as a 2 digit secondary dialing plan similar to the Meridian 1 systems. The IC extension would be used only for paging and secondary calling while the SIP trunk Directory number would be the main DN of the phone.
I'd like the phone to read the 5 digits in the Target line, but it is only allowing me to show the last 4 digits of the Target Line on my sets....what am I doing wrong?
Secondly, as I stated above, is there a way to show a SIP trunk as a directory number, so that when I pick up the phone it accesses the SIP trunk directory number and not the Intercom? The phone keeps saying Incoming only.....
Thank you,
