When adding an audio clip to my webpage, it does not show MP3 as an option. Is there a way to have Frontpage utilize an MP3 file on a webpage? My file is to large to use as a wav file. Don't know if it is important, helpful, or otherwise.....,but the server we use does supports Frontpage2002. -Bobby s-)

Doesn't anyone know if Frontpage will recognize an MP3 file? -Bobby s-)

to use mp3s on your webpages, first you have to change the extention of the mp3 to .wav

oh I should warn you, mp3s and wav files take forever to upload to your server and also to load once a page is viewed, I used some wav files on my site and loads quickly for me because I have the files on my computer, but loads really slow for everyone else.X-)

That's why I wanted to use mp3 instead of wav files, since it would reduce the file sizes. Thanks anyway though. I do appreciate the advice. -Bobby s-)

You need to embed the media. Like this:
<embed src=&quot;filename.mp3&quot; width=&quot;200&quot; height=&quot;40&quot; type=&quot;audio/mpeg&quot; AUTOSTART=&quot;FALSE&quot;><noembed>Gee, I'd like to play this nifty MP3, but you don't support it.</noembed>

The above code gives you a controller with the media.
