i have a small sign business and would like to use corel draw to go from art to cutting my signs ... at present i am having quite a bit of trouble with exporting AI files from corel to my sign cutting package (sign wizard)
I have been able to cut ie. square after converted to curves
and some text however this only allows me to do so spasmatically. do i need special drivers installed to corel?

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

THANK YOU!
Greg

You will have to go to the makers of sign wizard for either drivers or an update. I know the makers of Sign-Lab provide this facility.

Hope this helps!

Don't export as an (.ai) file. Use the plain old (.eps). In the dialogue box will be a format option, choose (.tif) in gray scale. Should give you zero problems!

Works extremely well for me in both casmate and sign wizard.
Watch it though that you don't export fills. Outlines only!
