Hi all,

We just reciently converted our distribution application from a Unisys 'A' series platform to an IBM RS/6000. Sorting on the 'A' was numeric/alpha. Sorting on the rs/6000 is alpha/numeric. Is there a way to change or modify the character set on the rs/6000 so that text is sorted numeric/alpha?

Please note that we are not using a database. We are running a COBOL application with ISAM data tables.

Thanks,
