Can I use 408GS/LS Legend Mods in Magix?

I currently have a Merlin Legend system and I want to buy a Magix now, but have no desire to replace our 408GS/LS modules or our MLX10DP phones (they work fine but some are on the fringe). I'd like to be able to simply add a 412TDL down the road when our reception phone dies or add 4412D phones as the MLX 10DP's die. Also, we are using Merlin Mail off of a 016 card that I'd like to reuse (the voice mail works great). The salesman said they make plastic modules to make the Legend cards work in a Magix. Basically, can I reuse my Legend equipment in the Magix platform today, and maybe six months down the road purchase a 412tdl module and TDL phones as my current phones break.

Your salesman is kind of backwards. You can get plastic clamshells so MAGIX metal carrier cards work in the LEGEND plastic carrier. If you have a CKE4 (Approx Rel 6.1 OR newer) processor or a CKE5 (metal carrier sytle)you can have the software upgraded to MAGIX without buying any hardware. Just remember you cannot reuse any 400TTR cards or ATL modules. If you get the Magix 2.2 upgrade remember to get WINSPM R7 so you can convert a backup and the installation will be semmless.
