I am using Crystal Reports 8, the developers addition, and I am a new user. Can I take a standard HTML document and turn it into a Report? If so, how?

Steven,

Do you mean:
Can I use Crystal Reports to read data from an HTML document?

Crystal has to read data from some type of data table. It can read virtually any database, excell spreadsheets, and even delimited text files (via ODBC) but I can't think of a way for it to read anything in HTML format.

Is there a way to output Crystal Reports as HTML?
Desired as a way to make reports available on the network.

Yes,

This is called exporting, and there are several different HTML options, depending on the version of Crystal that you have.

Look under, File - Print - Export.

Or use the little enveloper toolbar button. [sig]<p>Ken Hamady- href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady</a><br>[/sig]
