I can't boot up, but in an effort to save the config, can I take a new BCM, put my old hard drive in and have it work? Or does the mac address in the hard drive affect that? I am assuming the issue is related to memory, or mother board obviously.

If the hard drive is bad, then I am dead in the water.

When you try to boot, how far does it get ? What state are the LEDs ?
