Can I store a report instance into another loc on CE10?

Hi,

CR10 on CE10.

I have two mirror images of one report. One copy, located in folder A, runs daily, and I only keep 5 historical instances of the report. The other copy, located in folder B, runs on a predefined month-end date (using a calendar), and we keep 100 historical instances of this report.
Report B however failed on the 4th of November, but the daily report succeeded. It is imperative that we retain the month end snapshot as at the 4th. The historical instance of copy 1 will be retained in the File Input and output stores for a few more days. So I would ideally like to take that snapshot, and store it back as it would have been had copy 2 succeeded.
Is this at all possible?

No way to do it out of the box within CE-10.

I think that the APOS Archive Manager would allow you to do what you are asking, but you would need to contact them directly to confirm.

Could you not just run a manual export of the required instance of REPORT A from the CE Viewer to a PDF format, then manually add that PDF as an Object in the correct folder...?

It wouldn't show as an "INSTANCE" history - but at least you would have a PDF copy in the right folder location, and you could add an explanation for the PDF to the Object Descriptions.

That would be cheaper than buying a new tool to make a "one-time" fix.
