Can I share the internet connection ? 1

shows the intended topology at the house. I am in a rural area where its either dial up, satty or EVDO. No dsl or broadband.

Anyway .. the link given shows the intended topology. The only question I have is, can I share the EVDO connection from the desktop to works laptop across the switch ? The PCI adapter is alot cheaper then the dlink dir-450.
