Scratching my head on this one. I have a 500V2, essential edition, embedded VM (I know, embedded sucks, but it is all I have and all I am used to!), digital sets and analog lines. I have set up an auto attendant with menu for all incoming calls, and one of the choices the customer wants is for prescription refill requests to go to a group with 2 users. No problem there, but they want these two users to have individual voice mail also, and the hunt group calls to go to the individual boxes. These two members perform the same job function, so that is not an issue. Short question, is this even possible with embedded? I can get hunt group calls to go to the group VM box, and I can set up a button for VM collect for that box, but then I don't know how to set the MW light on the 2 users to alert them there is a message in the group box. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

On each user, on their Source tab, add HPrescriptions or H and whatever the name of the group is. This will light their lights, and using Visual Voicemail, they will first see the messages for their personal mailbox, and scrolling down once will present the hunt group mailbox.

Go to the user and the source number tab. Add H<hunt group name> . Such as, for a user to check group voicemails for huntgroup main, you would put Hmain. The huntgroup name will appear under the listen menu in visual voicemail. They can check the voicemails from there. As well, once one of the two employees checks the voicemail, the MWI will turn off on both phones.

Stars for both since you tied! Thanks, guys, it works great. EXACTLY what my customer wants. I appreciate your help!

Just to add a side note from experience :) ... you can also put H + the Group Extension number (H2002 for example) - in case the name ever changes, it won't break the functionality.
