Can I set an Error code from a VB executable???

I would like to set a return code from a VB application. For example if I were to call MyVBProgram.exe from a DOS command, and MyVBProgram recieved an error I would like to find that error in the DOS command. Is that possible??? Can a VB executable return an error???

Thanks for any help...
