I'm trying to find a way to have the path for the directory where my user receives attachments saved.

Is there a way, other than typing in the path, that my user can direct me to the proper directory, where I can save this path, so it only needs to be done once?

Thanks,

Jenny

Look at my post in thread702-266057. I think you will find that the SaveSetting/GetSetting with a Common Dialog Box may work for you. I have never done anything like this, but what you would do is capture the directory the import came from and set a registry entry for it with SaveSetting. Then use GetSetting to open back up to that location every time. You can have this done everytime a file is searched for. This will provide a dynamically changing directory based on the last directory selected. Hope this will help. Programming isn't a profession of choice.
