i heard a rumor that you can run two video acceleraters for double video-ram and double video processing power. i just happen to have two identical radeon 9200 128mb cards (PCI). can anyone confirm this rumor and give me installation instructions or is this just a myth?

my system runs wqindows xp home. (god i hate it and its idiot-proofness)

its true you can install 2 video cards on one pc (shoudl be one PCI and one AGP). but i doubt (as far as i know) that it can help in increasing your pc's video processing power.

click here for a simple setup.

hope this helps. peace! [peace]

This works with the cards that can do SLI. So far only one PCIExpress product can do it, and only one mobo has two PCIExpress slots I think. Check on this subject.

Currently, only nVidia PCI-E cards paired with an nVidia SLI motherboard chipset can achieve this.
