Hi all,
I'm using Backup Exec v10, and I'm using the SQL remote agent on a server with a database, and I'm wondering how I can restore one specific file from that database and overwrite it. I believe it's a SQL 2000 database. I'm not familiar with SQL at all, so to me it looks like I can only restore the whole database. Help is much appreciated, thanks!

You can only restore the whole database. That being said, you should be able to restore the database under a different name and then using SQL commands, move the table or whatever you need from the new database back to the original.

I don't use the SQL Agent for Backup Exec, so I can't help you with that. (Had a very costly problem with it, so I do all my SQL Server backups with the 'native' backup commands and use Backup Exec to copy the backup files to tape).

Me too. I no longer trust any sql agent from any backup software.
