Can I recover data from an Ghosted HDD?

Hi,

Now I got myself in deep .... I made a ghost of a small HDD, I put on a 30Go. Now, I took a Ghost from an other disk and put it on my original disk, it got overwritten. My 30 Go disk died, (not my day) now, is there anyway to recover .doc files from the original disk which got overwritten by Ghost, or I am just really in the s.... ??
