can I put a 5mp postscript simm in a 6p?

I've got a 5mp good for parts and a 6p with no memory upgrades. I don't really care about postscript but the postscript simm does add to memory a little. Hp web site shows different part #s for 6mp and 5mp simms but I was wondering if anyone had tried it and if there were any problems

Go to and lookup your nearest re-seller of font, barcode and other special DIMM`s. Give them a call and they will be able to tell from a compability list whether it will work.
