This is probably a ridiculous question but here goes.

If I'm connected from home to our Citrix box at the office and working in an app, is there any way to print what I'm seeing to my home printer?

I know I could make a pdf and mail it via webmail to myself, but is there another way?

Thanks in advance.

If I understand you well, you are at home connected to your Citrix at work and you want to print on your home printer ? Of course, you can.

I think you mean to print on your home printer (printer connected to PC in citrix session connected to your office) from Citrix session at work !? Yes you can if your Citrix is enterprise version.

I don't mean that I want to print to a printer connected to the Citrix box. I mean can I print information from an application that I'm using from home via a Citrix connection to work, to my printer at home.

The printer is connected locally to my HOME printer. The application I'm using is on the Citrix box at WORK. Is this possible?

If you are setup to autocreate printers in your client session, you should be good to go and will be able to print at your HOME printer.

Or you can click (if you using Active Directory) in your AD User Account to (under Envrionment Tab)= click "Map Printers".

This is how I do it.

Good luck!
Brandon

Can anyone help me find the setting for the autocreate printers function? Can't find it anywhere.

Thanks

Have a look in your CMC- you'll find it all there...

I think you should probably go get some basic books on Citrix MetaFrame or XP . that's always a good place to start... don't take this the wrong way-

Thanks,
Brandon

1. In Citrix Connection Configuration double click the ICA listener port, select the Client Settings button, and ensure Connect client printers at logon is selected.

2. Also, ensure that the following boxes are not selected under the Client Settings Area:

Disable Windows Client Printer Mapping
Disable Client LPT Mapping
