Can I modify or delete posts on my web's discussion forum?

Can I modify or delete posts on my web's discussion forum?
If so, how? RoadRunner cable access is my ISP. Thanks in advance for your help.

What type of forum are you using?
What type of database is it writting to?
Was working with a simple forum a few weeks ago which wrote to an access forum. All I did was delete certain records from the access database and the threads disappeared

I just used the duscussion wizard in front page 2000. Then uploaded it to my ISP. I get 10 free megs of space. I have no idea what database they use. It is totally transparent on my end.
