Hi

I would like to build some kind of hierachy in my dimensions, so that one depend on my choice in another.

ex. I have 2 dimensions, one with CustomerGroup and one with Customer. Now I would like to have filtered the customers based on my choice in Customergroup, so its only the customers for my choosen group, that is showing.

Normaly all members of dimension Customer is showing, but I can't have that, cause the SalesPeople only must see Customers of their own.

Anybody have any ideas? I have to Analysis Manager, as I can't program with MDX.

Best regards

What you are describing is a feature of the product. If you have an assigned Customer Group for each Customer, then your Customer dimension should have a hierarchy of
Customer group drilling down to Customer. This would provide the filtering you desire.

Thanks for the reply..

That's true .. but then I would make it as 2 levels in one dimension.
I am looking for a way to do it, where I have 2 dimensions with one level in each.
