Hi guys,

I have 2 PCs at home, PC-01 is running Win10 and Ubuntu 16.04 (wireless). PC-02 is running Win10 and Linux Mint (Mate) 18.3 (wired).
I was wondering if I could use my ISP's home modem: Home Hub 3000, to connect them to each other.

Assuming it is possible, where do I start?

Thanks guys

It's a Wifi router with apparently several ethernet ports. If you have the computers connected to it via wifi or wired ethernet, and getting internet, then they are already in a network.

Easy test to make, is to ping one computer's IP address from the other.

You were right!
I basically just created a homegroup and the rest was very easy.

Happy holidays!
