Can I install DSS console 4.2 or 4.3 in Win XP?

I always encounter this problem "the following task uses ODBC:winlogon.exe It must be stopped prior to continuing with the Sniffer Dist installation"

4.3 console can be installed on XP. 4.3.5 console and agent can both be installed on XP.

Try 4.2 SP3 console in XP

mahaprabhu is right. Version 4.3.5 is the XP port of the 4.3 version.

All ODBC related tasks or executables that run in the background must be turned off or stopped from running in order to install Console.

Be sure to check all Services and Process that are running in the background and turn off any that need to be off for Sniffer to install.
