Hi,

I have 2 Dell Optiplex G1 PC's (Pentium 2 300Mhz, 128MB). I intend to use one as a client and the other as DNS and DHCP Windows 2000 server (with two NICs) and connected via a hub? Is this possible. How about running DNS, DHCP and Exchange on one PC with three NICs ?

Your answer would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Its certainly possible to run those services all on one box. Here I have one Win2K3 server with DNS, DHCP, AD, IIS, file & printer shares and terminal services. Its a 1 GHz box with 384Mb RAM, about 3.5 years old.
You will find that 128Mb RAM is very tight for Win2K server though, even without any extra background services running. I would certainly seek out cheap 256Mb upgrades for each machine.
