There is only two computers connected to each other, server and workstation. Is it possible to install BDC on the workstation over the network?

Are you talking about installing Server over Workstation?

You can install NT server as a BDC over the network as long as it can access the PDC during the GUI portion of setup....which means the network adapter and protocols must be setup correctly.

If you want to install BDC on the workstation machine ,you can do it by reinstalling the machine by using the server setup and selecting BDC when asked by the setup to select the type of server, at this time the BDC shall be connected to the Server (which should be a PDC), because the BDC during installation checks that the PDC is online , otherwise displays an error message and the BDC setup can not be completed and should be aborted.
