Hi to all!
I have to import the data from a webpage to my pc (in MS Excel format e.g.). Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
The web page should be dynamic. I mean, it is a page that gives the results of the matches that are going on at the moment and the coefficients of the matches that will play today.
Is there some way to get the data from the website? Or maybe is a loss of time to try it?
Thanks in advance for any answers!

Have a look into the Response.ContentType property which allows you to specify a type (such as "application/vnd.ms-excel").

Try the Search Facility or read FAQ222-2244 on how to get better results.

Is there anyway that you can get to the datasource where the data is coming from? It would be really easy if you created a web service to return a dataset, then you could do anything you wanted to with the data.

If you're simply trying to page scrape the data from a web page then you'll have to be a bit more creative (I've got a few ideas, but need a little further explanation).
