Can I hook up a paging system to a Merlin Magix

Is it possible to hook up an internal speaker paging system to the Merlin Magix? And if so, what additional equipment would I need to purchase in order to make this work? Thanks

yes you can.

you will need to connect it to a vacant trunk port and program that port as a paging port.

you would need to purchase a paging amp, speakers & wiring

Also, the paging amp will need to have trunk level access, or you will need a UPAM (universal paging access module) or Page-Pal to interface the trunk port to the amplifier.

You can get the loop start trunk adapter for $12 @ cmh.net. Look under paging. I found this out after I just bought one from valcom for my Merlin Legend. Good Luck!
